NEW PROJECTS

2nd gen. Savannahsoul Dance Music.

Continuing on the original savsoul concept of the earlier music works at Traxbox 1999-2004, new material is in development in Oxford U.K. at Blackbird Leys Soundworks Studio as well as in-house at Traxbox Oxford. We will be updating you on the outcomes as work progresses.

Mainstream International and Indie Music.

More 'mainstream' music i.e. contemporary as opposed to experimental genres, is on course as well to be released at Traxbox. Involving both in-house works, as well as from new clients in Oxford and from international contacts, all will be posted in due course. In line with this we are actively seeking new artists for direct production or collaboration. Please feel welcome to contact us with your views or interest in this connection.

Originally first produced in Kampala,Uganda and Trondheim, Norway and some never released before, extensive re-working remixing and re-recording is in progress for these works as well. VACANCIES/work offers

(UP-COMING)

We are shortly requiring talented musicians and personnel for various production work running through Winter 2008 onwards. This will include in particular :

-Song writer/lyricist(s)

if possible with music arrangement experience - Mainly to assist writing fitting lyrics for several near-ready instrumental accompaniment tracks at Traxbox

-Female lead vocalist(s)

Music already exists, all that is needed is your diva vocal performance to convert the work into a hit. Have a look at our 'project songs' or studio 'demos' (e.g. Rockin the house_TraxDemoedit2005 ) for a general idea of material available.

- Background or backing chorus (M/F) : General backing, ad-lib or rap talent also welcome. Music varies from straightforward pop choruses to some 'large choir' type singing (see 'New Century' song demo instrumental for this latter)

- On-call Session Guitarists, drummers, keyboardists all styles , mainly part-time and as work is available.

- Event organiser and marketing support specialists (experienced) : for planned local and international events in piopeline.

We will be posting all these posts as soon soon as they are fully in place.
