FIRST OF ALL THERE ARE TWO VERY DISTINCT BUT EQUALLY IMPORTANT AREAS OF WORK THAT WILL HOLD: IE "MUSIC PRODUCTION" AND "STUDIO
PRODUCTION":

WHAT DOES THIS INVOLVE ?-

THIS IS REALLY WHAT WE MAY DO TO THE ACTUAL MATERIAL BEFORE
OR "PRE"-RECORDING, IF SUCH BE NEEDED, THE AIM BEING TO IMPROVE THE OVERALL "ARTISTIC" QUALITY OF THE FINAL WORK. THIS INCLUDES
SUCH "PRODUCER" FUNCTIONS AS ASSEMBLING THE "ACCOMPANIMENT"/INSTRUMENTAL TRACKS FOR THE SONG, RECASTING OR RE-ARRANGEMENT
OF VOCAL SONG PARTS, IMPROVEMENTS ON THE LYRICS, MELODIES AND ANY OTHER INPUT IF AGGREEABLE TO CLIENT (EG SPECIAL EFFECTS
AND RIFFS,ETC).
MUSIC PRODUCTION MAY OF COURSE ALSO INVOLVE THE PRODUCTION OF THE DEMOS FOR THE WORK - AND THIS SLIGHTLY OVERLAPS WITH "STUDIO
PRODUCTION" - SEE NEXT SECTION ON THIS LATTER.

"PRODUCTION SCOPE" CONSIDERATION
PRODUCTION SCOPE is basically the size and complexity of resourcing involved to do the work. The work typically will involve
scope in terms of how "big" or "small" the artwork itself is : a few scenarios to illustrate-
a 1-man band, singing and
self-accompanying on a couple of 5 minute singles. as opposed to:
a 25-strong full gospel choir recording multiple vocal
parts and with with live acoustic instruments, doing a 12 piece full album: or
a single person doing a voice-over recording for 2hours total.
In general therefore, the client will be invited to specify what "scope" he would be needing for the given work, and basing
upon this a package or bundle of options would be offered for the work, due capacity (space, time, expertise) and manpower
at hand also being taken into consideration.

STUDIO PRODUCTION
WHAT DOES THSI INVOLVE ?-

THIS IS THE DEDICATED "SOUND ENGINEERING" WORK WE CARRY OUT ON THE ORIGINAL ARTIST'S MATERIAL IN THE STUDIO, INCLUDING SETTING
UP AND EXECUTING RECORDING, MIXING AND MASTERING DOWN TO FINAL TAKES OF THE CLIENT'S WORK.
THIS ENSURES WHEN THE BAND HAS COMPLETED ALL THE COMPOSITION WWORK/ARRANGEMENTS, ETC AND ARE READY TO MAKE THE FINAL TRACKS,
FROM WHICH A PROFESSIONAL MASTER IS TO BE FINALISED.
SIMPLY PUT "STUDIO PRODUCTION" IS THE STAGE WHEN "MUSIC PRODUCTION" IS COMPLETE. HOWEVER ELEMENTS OF BOTH CATEGORIES WILL
OFTEN INTERMERGE AS CAN BE IMAGINED.
HOWEVER ELEMENTS OF BOTH CATEGORIES WILL OFTEN INTERMERGE AS CAN BE IMAGINED. THUS THE FINAL RATES CHARGED WILL FALL BETWEEN
THE RNAGES INDICATED ABOVE DUE TO THIS ASPECT.
FURTHERMORE. AS THE CLIENT CAN SPECIFY OR EVEN DESIGN THEIR OWN PREFERENCES, THE COST WILL ALSO BE INFORMED BY TWO FURTHER
ASPECTS- "PRODUCTION SCOPE" AND "QUALITY PREMIUM" : THESE ARE DESCRIBED BRIEFLY AT THE OPPOSITE PANEL --->

"QUALITY PREMIUM" CONSIDERATION
The "Quality premium" consideration relates really to the degree of finesse that the work may invoke. Typically this is borne
out in the following main ways:
1) with the choice of equipment : high-end professional brands as opposed to "bugdet"
or value options: or
2) in the "grade" of audio format used: "CD/24-bit/stereo surround" "RELEASE READY" audio as opposed
to "mp3/16-bit/mono" "DEMO" recording, and finally
3) in the "expertise" of any individuals brought in to help in the
work : eg a "Rookie" instead of a "seasoned" professional vocalist/ keyboardist/ guitarist/ engineer..
In general therefore, AGAIN the client will be invited to specify what "QUALITY PREMIUM" he would be needing for the given
work, and basing upon this a package or bundle of options would be offered for the work, due capacity (space, time, expertise,
equipment) and manpower at hand also being taken into consideration.
The table at the bottom of the page outlines the basic "options" or "packages" that will be availed to the client with respect
to scope and premium.

FINAL MUSIC PRODUCTION OPTION SELECTION
The final costs arrangement
typically will be a balance between the "Quality Premium" and "Production scope" criteria. Any options can also be tailored
to fit the work and client's finances and this is the case no matter whether it involve just the one-off demo by a single
artist or full album by choir. The options cab also be taken singularly or in a bundle , this will usually be determined ultimately
